About David Meadowcroft
$450,000,000 worth of Real Estate transactions (with an average sale price over 23 years of under $300000, this represents close to 2000 individual transactions!) does not happen by accident! Since 1988, David has directly helped thousands of families through what is often described as the biggest, most stressful transaction of their life.
Commencing his Real Estate Career in 1988, David has been working in the Western Suburbs of Sydney (Bankstown) area since early 1994, after commencing his career in the Inner West in 1988 (Strathfield, Burwood,Croydon Park area). David operated Professionals Bankstown (later trading as Independent Property Centre) from 1994, and in 2008 merged the business with Ray White Bankstown. Since 2011, David spent time coaching and managing high performance agents as Regional Manager for a large franchise group, and most recently spent a year as State Manager for a publicly listed property business. 2014 has seen David return to Bankstown, where he is at Elders Real Estate Bankstown as General Manager.
David says that one of his greatest strengths is that he learnt the business in a period during which interest rates escalated above 16%. In fact, it was during this time that David rose to become the No.1 salesperson in the franchise in which he worked. It is the systems, methods, and basic skills and habits that David learnt during this time that has stood him in good stead across a variety of markets, helping to achieve a premium result for so many clients. David is now implementing those systems at Elders, helping the sales team there to achieve fantastic results.
Now celebrating his 26th year in Real Estate, David still loves nothing more than the ‘hands on work’ of helping people buy and sell what is often their greatest asset. Although not directly listing and selling, as General Manager and Auctioneer for Elders Real Estate Bankstown, David still participates in each transaction.
To ensure his skills are continually fine tuned, David undergoes countless hours of training in all areas of the industry. The past year alone has seen him complete in excess of 60 hours training in a variety of areas.
David loves spending his time away from work with his three young daughters Zoe, Gabriella and Georgia. He also enjoys playing & watching a variety of sports. He is a self confessed cricket tragic, having travelled extensively around all parts of Australia and overseas in support of the Australian Cricket team.
David says that to him the best measure of success in the industry is a long list of happy and satisfied clients. The fact that 90% of David’s business comes from repeat referrals, is a sure sign that he is on the right track.
